Our Story

How we found
forever

It began three years ago, in the autumn of 2023 — a first date among the golden trees of Burnaby Mountain, wandering the forest paths as the leaves fell around us. Neither of us wanted that walk to end.

In the seasons since, we have wandered far beyond that first autumn trail, across Canada and around the world, weathering every season and every mood with our hands clasped together. Mile after mile, the same quiet certainty grew within us: there is no road we would rather travel than the one that carries us forward, together.

We would be honoured to have you with us as we say "I do."

Good to Know

Dress Code

Garden Light

Keep it light and breezy. The ceremony and dinner are indoors in the glass house; cocktail hour in between opens onto the grounds, where you are warmly welcome to step out for the sea air, the grass underfoot, and the shoreline just beyond. Think airy linens, soft florals, and muted tones. Ladies, consider block heels for the grass, and a light layer for the cooler evening by the water.

  • Ceremony and dinner indoors, in the glass house
  • Cocktail hour outdoors on the garden, grass, and shoreline
  • Cooler evening by the water, so bring a light wrap
  • Grass & gravel paths across the grounds

Questions

Frequently Asked

Absolutely — children are warmly welcome. We'd love for your little ones to celebrate the day with us, so please include them when you RSVP.

Please note The Teahouse does not have complimentary or valet parking. The lot in front of the restaurant is metered EasyPark — $4.75 per hour or $17.75 for the full day — paid by card at the pay station or through the EasyPark app. The lot is small, so if it's full, the larger Third Beach lot is a short walk down the hill to the north. Because Vancouver is hosting the FIFA World Cup this summer, parking will be especially limited, so we'd gently encourage transit or a rideshare instead.

With the World Cup in town, downtown and park traffic will be heavy — so transit or a rideshare is your friend. A rideshare is the simplest option and will bring you right to Ferguson Point. By transit, the #19 Stanley Park bus runs to the Stanley Park Loop ($2.60 with a Compass Card); from the loop it's a scenic stroll or a quick rideshare on to the Teahouse. However you arrive, please allow some extra travel time.

Kindly respond by the fifteenth of June, 2026, so we can share final numbers with The Teahouse.
